About Alicia Vocational School
School Size
Alicia Vocational School (AVS) serves a total enrollment of 859 students supported by 37 teaching staff and 3 non-teaching personnel. Spanning 2 hectares, the campus is strategically located in Purok 5, Barangay M.H. Del Pilar, Alicia, Isabela, just 50 meters from the National Highway, ensuring accessibility for its stakeholders.
Curriculum Offerings
As one of only eight schools in the Division of Isabela offering the Special Program in Technical-Vocational Education (SPTVE), AVS provides robust programs for both Junior and Senior High School learners.

Alternative Learning System (ALS)
On October 11, 2022, the Regional Office approved AVS to offer the Alternative Learning System (ALS) for Senior High School, expanding its service to out-of-school youth and adults.
Location and Catchment Areas
Located in a rural setting in Purok 5, M.H. Del Pilar, Alicia, Isabela, AVS is surrounded by rice fields, vegetable gardens, and irrigation systems. It is 10 kilometers from the town proper and easily accessible by various modes of transportation, including tricycles, motorcycles, and bicycles.
The school draws learners from multiple feeder barangays, including:
Alinam (Cauayan City)
Paddad, Mabini, Zamora, Rizaluna, San Francisco, and Magsaysay (Alicia)
Angadanan (neighboring municipality)
Environment and Socioeconomic Context
AVS is located near the Barangay Hall, Community Center, and residential areas of M.H. Del Pilar. The local community primarily consists of farmers, drivers, carpenters, small business owners, and vendors. A significant Indigenous People (IP) population from the Kankanaey tribe resides in the area, contributing to its rich cultural diversity.
Proximity to the City of Cauayan allows the community to enjoy the balance of rural life and access to urban amenities. Surrounding the school are chapels, churches, mini-groceries, computer shops, tea shops, and other establishments.
