The Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program was successfully launched on September 12, 2025, at 8:00 AM in the AVS Conference Hall, Alicia Vocational School, M.H. Del Pilar, Alicia, Isabela. The event gathered the School Head, teachers, learners, and PTA officers in a collaborative effort to strengthen academic support and ensure accessible learning opportunities for all students.
The program formally opened with a prayer, the national anthem, and a welcome address delivered by Master Teacher I, Mrs. Rose Marie B. Alviar. This was followed by the Opening Remarks of Dr. Julieta M. Domingo, Principal IV, who highlighted the significance of Project ARAL in addressing learning gaps and promoting inclusive education.
The ARAL Program Coordinator, Ms. Ginalyn L. Tomas, presented the overview of Project ARAL, emphasizing its role in academic recovery, accessible learning resources, and responsive teaching strategies. Inspirational messages were shared by PTA President Heide T. Camitog, ARAL Tutor Vanessa Mae P. Taberna, and Barangay Kagawad Ronald P. Camitog, representing the Committee on Education.
To inspire learners further, Mr. Russel Wayne P. Ferreria, a Reading Enthusiast, gave a lively presentation about the joy of reading, motivating students to embrace literacy as a key to success.
The launching proper was formally conducted, marking the official start of the ARAL Program implementation at Alicia Vocational School. This was followed by a reiteration of the school’s commitment to sustaining ARAL initiatives, reaffirmed by Dr. Julieta M. Domingo, Principal IV.
The program concluded with closing remarks from Ms. Hazelyn F. Gammad, Filipino Coordinator, expressing gratitude to all stakeholders and encouraging continued support for the program.
The launching was well-attended, with active participation from teachers, learners, and PTA officers. The presence of stakeholders reflected a strong partnership in fostering a learning environment that prioritizes both academic recovery and accessible education.
Indeed, the Project ARAL Program Launching at AVS symbolizes a unified commitment to ensuring that no learner is left behind in the pursuit of quality education.
