Cascade of 2022 Division LAC Sessions on Digital Content and Instructions for SHS, TLE, and EPP Teachers Through School-Based Learning Action Cell

The District Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session was successfully held with the theme: "Cascade of 2022 Division LAC Sessions on Digital Content and Instructions." This session aimed to capacitate the Elementary, Junior and Senior High School Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE), and Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan (EPP) and TVL teachers in developing contextualized digital content and integrating it into classroom instruction to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
I. Opening Program
The program began with the singing of the National Anthem led by Ms. Apple Nicolas, Teacher I from Alicia National High School, followed by a solemn invocation by Mr. Richard S. Torno, Teacher II from the same school.
To officially commence the event, Ms. Maricel B. Torno, Teacher III, gave the opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of digital content in today's educational setting. Dr. Julian B. James, Principal IV of Alicia National High School, delivered an inspirational message, encouraging educators to embrace innovation and adapt to the evolving needs of learners. Mr. Jayson B. Cadelina, Teacher II, facilitated the checking of attendance.
II. LAC Session Proper
Session 1: Mastering the Arts of Developing Contextualized Digital Content and Instructions along Quality Standards
The first session was facilitated by Mr. Mark R. Claravall, Teacher II from Alicia Vocational School, and Mrs. Lorna Quitoriano, Teacher III from M.H. Del Pilar Elementary School. They shared valuable insights on creating digital instructional materials aligned with curriculum standards and learner needs.
Session 2: Discovering Ways to Integrate Digital Content into Classroom Instruction
In the second session, Ms. Analiza Evangelista (Teacher III, Rizaluna ES) and Ms. Katrina Lorenzo (Teacher III, Apanay ES) introduced practical strategies for incorporating digital content into daily teaching, helping educators bridge the gap between traditional instruction and 21st-century learning.
Session 3: Digital Learning and Personalized Learning
Ms. Rosie Pinlac, Master Teacher I from San Antonio ES, led the third session focused on the importance of digital and personalized learning, highlighting approaches that cater to diverse learners in various learning modalities.
A demonstration teaching was conducted by Ms. Maricel B. Torno, showcasing how digital tools and strategies can be effectively applied in the classroom.
After the sessions, a collaborative workshop followed, where all teacher participants actively created contextualized digital content. They later presented their outputs, which served as a platform for peer feedback and sharing of best practices.
III. Closing Program
The closing program began with the awarding of certificates by Mr. Jose P. Magallones, Teacher III of Burgos ES. This was followed by a motivational Words of Challenge delivered by Dr. Larina A. Colobong, Education Program Supervisor for TLE/EPP. Ms. Mailanie M. Mactal gave the closing remarks, expressing gratitude to all participants and speakers for their active involvement and dedication.
The entire program was ably hosted by Mr. Jose P. Magallones, who served as the Master of Ceremony.
The LAC session proved to be a productive and meaningful professional development opportunity. It strengthened the competencies of SHS, TLE, and EPP teachers in developing digital instructional materials, encouraged collaboration among educators, and reinforced the integration of technology in teaching for better learning outcomes.
